Spiral Motif Ceramic Jar [VINTAGE]
This earthenware storage jar is handmade and signed, its body incised with a square spiral motif that continues onto a stylized geometric spiral top grip on the lid, tying the whole piece together as one continuous design gesture rather than a plain lid on a decorated body. That spiral detailing gives it more presence than a standard lidded jar, whether it is holding something or simply displayed closed. Excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks observed. At six and a half inches tall, it works well in a kitchen for dry goods or on a shelf as a piece of considered studio pottery.
